Pierce Pereira ‘27

Pierce Pereira is a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame, studying neuroscience & behavior on the pre-med track with a minor in foundations of business. He is deeply committed to advancing healthcare equity and expanding educational opportunities in underserved communities globally. Pierce views patient advocacy as a critical responsibility of physicians and aims to integrate this ethos into his future medical career. Through the Kellogg Developing Researchers Program, he seeks to engage in a project that aligns with his passions for healthcare and develop the skills necessary to excel as a physician and researcher. Additionally, he is dedicated to developing a well-rounded perspective that will allow him to impact the field of medicine and global health.
