Tun-jen Cheng, Class of 1935 Professor of Government at the College of William and Mary, specializes in comparative political economy and East Asian development. Formerly the editor of American Asian Review and currently the editor of Taiwan Journal of Democracy, he has published numerous journal articles, book chapters, and has coauthored or coedited several volumes. Among the most recent of his many publications is "China's Foreign Exchange Reserves" in the Journal of Post-Keynesian Economics. He is presently coediting the Routledge Handbook on East Asian Democratization. He holds a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley.
