KELLOGG COMMONS
The Commons is flexible space in the Hesburgh Center for our Kellogg community to study and gather in an informal setting. Open M-F, 8am to midnight. To reserve meeting rooms or for more info: 574.631.3434.
Mary O'Connell is senior vice president and chief procurement officer at American Express (AXP) in New York, where she is responsible for the sourcing, settlement, and oversight of all goods and services procured through third parties on behalf of the company. She has held various management positions during her 20 years at AXP across a diverse set of functions, including customer servicing, merchant pricing and capabilities, new product development, and rewards. She previously worked for Accenture in New York.
O’Connell graduated magna cum laude in 1996 with a BA from the University of Notre Dame, where she received a Kellogg Institute fellowship, and holds an MIA (Master of International Affairs) from Columbia University.
She began serving on Kellogg's Advisory Board in 2010, and became Board Chair in July 2021.
