About

This profile was current as of 2016, when he was part of the on-campus Kellogg community.

I'm interested in research on the arts in context of developing countries. I've spent time focusing on arts education in Uganda during my undergraduate career, interviewing educators, community members, and Ministry of Education officials. This past summer, I implemented an arts-literacy pilot program in Kampala area schools.

I received Glynn Family Honors program grants to research in Uganda for the summers of 2013 and 2015, and I received the Da Vinci Grant to research at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris during the summer of 2014.
