About

Paige Matarazzo is a junior studying Science-Business and Spanish in the Glynn Family Honors Program. During her pre-medical internship on Long-Island, Matarazzo became interested in learning more about social determinants of health and how culture impacts the perspective people have of healthcare. Matarazzo has had a myriad of research experiences. She is a part of Cristian Koepfli's Molecular Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases lab at Notre Dame, and is involved in clinical research at Nassau University Medical Center. Beyond research in healthcare, Matarazzo is interested in exploring how topics such as gender and feminism are evident in Spanish literature and culture. Outside of research, Paige is involved in many clubs and dorm life on campus and loves to travel and listen to music.

Matarazzo is looking forward to growing her research skills through the Kellogg Institute and applying them to not only her academic experiences at Notre Dame but her future professional life.
