Stephen DeCarlo is a senior at the University of Notre Dame majoring in English and Arabic Studies with minors in PPE and ESS. As a developing researcher at the Kellogg Institute, he is interested in human development, stories from the margins of society, and education curriculum and policy. As an undergraduate, DeCarlo has researched drug and alcohol education, tutored in local public schools, and is currently writing a thesis on depictions of alcohol abuse in British literature. Through work in consulting, teaching, and research, he has learned how to use Excel, conduct interviews, and review literature. After graduation, DeCarlo will continue to pursue his interest in education with Notre Dame's Alliance for Catholic Education program.
