Akash Nooka ‘26

Akash Nooka is a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame from Lincoln, Nebraska, majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior and minoring in Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, and spending time with his friends. Akash hopes to explore an MD-PhD program and is heavily involved in the Santiago-Tirado research lab on campus. Also, Akash is interested in epidemiology and hopes to expand his programming skills further through the program. Aside from research, Akash volunteers at Memorial Hospital, Special Olympics, and the Robinson Community Learning Center.
