About

Anne Griffin is a sophomore double majoring in Arabic and Applied Mathematics. She is primarily interested in research related to the role of emerging technologies in national security and counter-terrorism strategies, as well the challenges that new technologies present in relation to the scope of democracy and privacy rights. Griffin has professional working proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic, low-intermediate skills in Levantine Arabic, and experience with MATLAB, Python, and Excel. She is looking forward to conducting research with Kellogg Faculty and building skills throughout the semester.
