Grace Clinton attended the University of Notre Dame and studied Science Pre-Professional and Global Affairs with a minor in Anthropology. Her work focused on postpartum health and gender-based violence in Sub-Saharan Africa. After graduation, she reviewed the Samuel Huntington Public Service Award to continue non-profit work in rural Botswana by building a women's shelter that caters to survivors of gender-based violence. Additionally, she attended the University of Cambridge to study Medical Anthropology with a focus on how non-profits contribute to care systems for survivors of gender-based violence. Currently she is based in London, UK working for Girlguiding on grant writing and curriculum development. She is still actively overseeing activities in Botswana and visits frequently.
