Collette Doyle is a junior majoring in Political Science with a supplementary major in Theology. Currently, she serves as Director of Communications for Notre Dame Student Government and works as a student assistant in the Political Science Department on campus. Collette is primarily interested in studying and exploring democratic-backsliding and economic regression in developing countries. Her main focus is identifying key factors that contribute to autocratization and declines in economization. She is excited to take part in the Kellogg’s Developing Researchers Program to both learn and hone new skills that will be essential to future research endeavors.
