2022-2027 My research interests include examining the relationship between government institutions, health, and education with particular interest in violence or violent actions towards children. Currently, I am looking at the effect of genital mutilation on the education levels of girls in Benin. This has led me to want to examine more cultural practices that harm children and the long-term effects of such practices on the wellbeing of the children.
