In it, he describes how protests in Algeria last year were able to bring down then-Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. Nevertheless, problems such as corruption, lack of economic development and civil rights still pertain. Algerians are still actively taking the streets each week in demand of change, freedom and dignity.
