Former PhD Fellow Víctor A. Hernández-Huerta published an article at The Journal of Politics entitled "Disputed Elections in Presidential Democracies: Contexts of Electoral “Blackmail." In it, he analyses the post-election political discourse between political parties around the globe. He examines the trends in original data set of 164 presidential elections held from 1974 to 2012 in 31 democracies.
