Chilean Fulbright Chair in Democracy and Human Development

The Chilean Fulbright Chair in Democracy and Human Development brings to the Kellogg Institute scholars from Chile with the potential to make significant contributions in research on democracy and human development.

The position is the result of a five-year partnership between Kellogg and Fulbright Chile and will further scholarship in the Institute’s core thematic areas of study. The fellowship will allow a Chilean faculty member or researcher to spend a semester at the Institute engaging in research appropriate for eventual policy application. The first fellowship was awarded in the spring term of 2021.

The program will strengthen cooperation between Chilean higher education and/or research institutions and the Kellogg Institute and will provide fresh perspective and expertise on contemporary issues in Chile, which has been a focus of study at Kellogg since the 1980s.
