Becoming a Faculty Fellow
Kellogg Institute faculty fellows are at the heart of the institute’s mission. Through their research, teaching, creative work, policy engagement, and participation in Kellogg’s intellectual community, they help us deepen understanding of global democracy – how it is created, advanced, challenged, protected, and reimagined.
We welcome Notre Dame faculty from a wide range of disciplines, methods, and perspectives whose work speaks to democracy broadly understood, including governance, justice and inclusion, human flourishing, autocracy, and comparative, international, or transnational dimensions of democratic life. Prospective faculty fellows must be nominated by current Kellogg faculty fellows; nominations are then considered by the institute’s Faculty Committee.
Both current faculty fellows nominating colleagues for consideration and prospective faculty fellows themselves can find details on the type of scholars Kellogg seeks in the document below. Further inquiries may be addressed to Kellogg Executive Director Mauricio Benítez.
