Former Visiting Fellow Noam Lupu (fall 2011), associate professor of political science at Vanderbilt University, was the recipient this fall of two awards from the American Political Science Association: the Theda Skocpol Prize for Emerging Scholars from the Comparative Politics section and the Emerging Scholar Award from the Elections, Public Opinion, and Voting Behavior section.
Lupu also is associate director of the Latin American Public Opinion Project, which just released its 2021 "Pulse of Democracy" report. Some of the report's findings were highlighted in a recent El País article where Lupu was quoted.
