In October 2019, former Visiting Fellow Diego Sanchez-Ancochea (2018-19) began a three-year appointment as Head of the Oxford Department of International Development. He is co-editor of the Journal of Latin American Studies and member of the editorial boards of Oxford Development Studies (associate editor) and Journal of Development Studies. He is also treasurer of the Latin American Studies Association.
