Former Kellogg Dissertation Year Fellow Austin Choi-Fitzpatrick '13 (PhD, Sociology), assistant professor of peace studies at the University of San Diego’s Kroc School of Peace Studies, celebrates several milestones in 2021:
- Recognized as University Professor at the University of San Diego
- Accepted fellowships at Harvard's Kennedy School and Yale's Macmillan Center
- Co-founded Art Builds, an art collective focused on large-scale public installations
- Publishing Wicked Problems (Oxford University Press), co-edited with Kellogg Institute Faculty Fellow Ernesto Verdeja and Doug Irvin-Erickson (George Mason University)
