Sofia Carozza, a University of Notre Dame senior and former recipient of a Kellogg Institute Experiencing the World Fellowship (ETW), has been named a 2019 Marshall Scholar, which she will use to study neuroscience at the University of Cambridge. She received an ETW fellowship in the summer of 2016 to study "Community-based Solutions to the Global Challenge of Poverty" at Fundación San Rafael in Asunción, Paraguay, where she worked with children with developmental disabilities and psychiatric disorders for six weeks.
Carozza is a South Bend native majoring in neuroscience and behavior with a supplemental major in theology and a minor in philosophy, politics and economics.
