Former Kellogg Doctoral Affiliate Melissa Coles (PhD ‘24) was recently hired as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism.
She specializes in research on the intersection of Catholicism, Indigenous traditions, the environment, and sacred places. Her current research is focused on two Indigenous-Catholic pilgrimage sites: el Santuario de Chimayo in New Mexico and Lac Ste. Anne in Alberta, Canada.
