Doctoral Student Affiliate Angela Lederach (peace studies and anthropology) recently talked with El Espectador newspaper in Colombia about her dissertation research, which focuses on grassroots efforts to build peace in the Montes de María.
"Lederach defends a 'no haste' peace construction that moves away from the dominant approaches of peace as a short-term project, towards an understanding of peace as a continuous, active and endless process," the newspaper wrote.
