Former Kellogg Institute Visiting Fellow Amy Erica Smith has co-authored a piece in Vox that says anti-corruption efforts in Latin America may be backfiring. She says, "Paradoxically, the current round of corruption investigations could ultimately undermine democracy in Latin America more than fortify it."
