Evelyne Huber (Fall ’87, ’10), the Morehead Alumni Distinguished Professor of Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, received an honorary doctorate from the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Bern, Switzerland on December 4. The doctor rerum socialium honoris causa recognized Huber’s work on democracy and welfare states in Latin America and Europe.
