Megan Kendall is a senior Arts and Letters pre-health and sociology major. Kendall’s research interests include global health, as well as medical institutions and the effect they have on marginalized populations. As a research assistant, Kendall completes data organization, transcription, and literature reviews to support Professor Smith-Oka’s projects on medical spaces, and reproductive health. Last spring, along with co-researchers, she completed a project investigating maternal mistreatment in Kenyan labor wards.
