About

Marshall Smith is a junior at the University of Notre Dame majoring in international economics. He also intends to pursue minors in social entrepreneurship and innovation (SEI), catholic social tradition and data science. Marshall is particularly interested in topics such as education, poverty reduction, and private sector engagement, and how they align with Catholic social teaching. He is excited to gain experience in research projects focused on global development. Outside of the Kellogg Institute, Marshall enjoys representing his residence hall in Student Senate and interhall sports.
