Jingyi (Angel) Lai is a junior majoring in sociology and economics with minors in Asian studies and Japanese. Lai joined the ISP program in 2022 fall and is currently working with her ISP mentor Professor Eva Dziadula on her research about immigration policies and implications in both the US and around the world. Lai will assist her ISP mentor with literature review, data collection, as well as using LaTex and coding to calibrate papers. On campus, Lai is actively involved in Women in Econ club that is dedicated to connecting female students majoring in economics, providing them with academic learning, as well as assisting them in career discernment.
