Before joining the Ph.D. program at Notre Dame, Isabel completed the Advanced Studies Program in International Economic Policy Research at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and obtained a Master in International and Monetary Economics while working as a Junior Analyst at the CIO office of Bank J. Safra Sarasin, Switzerland, and a Bachelor’s degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich, Germany, with studies abroad at Boston University. She has also worked as a research assistant at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and the CesIfo Institute in Munich, Germany, as well as a teaching assistant at Christian-Albrechts-University, Kiel, Germany.
She interned at the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund in Washington.
Her research interests include Monetary Economics, Macroeconomics and International Economics.
