About

Isabel Barnidge is a senior at Notre Dame, studying Spanish, pre-health, and international development studies. Originally from Arlington, Virginia, she credits her Spanish immersion education and her engagement with D.C. for establishing and promoting her interest in international development studies. Given her attraction to medicine, travel, cultural exchange, and language acquisition, Barnidge plans to pursue a combined degree in medicine and global health. She ultimately hopes to specialize within pediatrics and become an advocate for children’s access to quality and affordable healthcare in the United States and abroad.
