Third in a series of three policy conversations.

This conversation will be presented in Spanish; translation will be available for those who attend via Zoom.

The inter-American human rights system continues to play an important role in protecting human rights. One emerging area of focus for its Commission is the growing number of challenges to academic freedom in the Americas. How should human rights bodies and policymakers deal with these challenges? What would a helpful response look like?

Join us for this series of policy discussions to hear insights on this and other important issues.

This event is presented by the Notre Dame Reparations Design and Compliance Lab and the Keough School of Global Affairs, with cosponsorship by Kellogg Institute for International Studies, Klau Center for Civil and Human Rights, Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law.
