Abstract
Jorge Puma explores the legacy and impact of the Chinese Revolution fifty years after the proclamation of the People's Republic of China. He reminds us of the role that Mao's China had in the global sixties moment of student protest and the ways that legacy has overlapped with the emergence of China as a superpower in the 21st century.
