John J. Kennedy Prize Deadline
Each year, LASP awards the John J. Kennedy Prize for the best senior essay on Latin America. The award is named after a Notre Dame Political Science Department professor who did much to develop Latin American studies on this campus. It carries a monetary value of $300 and recognizes the recipient’s high quality work at Notre Dame. To qualify for this competition, papers must be submitted to the director or assistant director of LASP. A faculty committee will review the essays and make the award. Winners will be recognized in the graduation program and during Senior Week ceremonies.
