Brianna DeMuth is a Ph.D. student in political science with a focus on international relations and methods. She holds a B.A. in politics and government, and environmental studies from Ohio Wesleyan University. During her undergraduate studies, she was a student researcher, participating in her institution’s summer program studying public support for human rights and authoritarian regimes. She has also collaborated with the University of Iowa’s political science department researching global transnational advocacy networks in South East Asia that address international crime.
At Notre Dame, Brianna hopes to focus her research and dissertation proposal on how community leaders and citizens mobilize and enact leaders to take action on international human rights laws when international crises occur. She is looking forward to collaborating with other Kellogg affiliates during her time at Notre Dame.
