About

Ben Jones is a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame majoring in Political Science with a supplementary major in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics and a potential minor in Data Science. In his free time, he enjoys exercise/weightlifting, swimming, reading, and exploring new genres of music. He is interested in international relations and political philosophy, particularly the influence of the Internet and anonymous online influencers on political discourse. Through the Kellogg Developing Researchers Program, Ben hopes to explore the intersection of current events, political philosophy, and online movements. His experience with applied and computational mathematics and statistics equips him with a quantitative and analytical skillset that he aims to apply to his research. Ben hopes to provide a better perception of the politics of the Internet, bridging the gap between the general public and the online world.
