Ashlyn Poppe is a global affairs major working with Dr. Ted Beatty. Poppe will be working on an ongoing project on “a global history of engineering.” Her research will aim to uncover patterns in geographically expansive markets for information, ideas, and knowledge over time. In this role, Poppe’s primary responsibilities will include qualitative research with a variety of historical sources and the systematic organization of relevant data from the sources.
