About

I am originally from Curitiba, Brazil. After studying law at the Universidade Federal do Paraná, I studied Philosophy and Theology at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, where I also received a degree in Licentiate in Sacred Theology (S.T.L.) in 2019, with specialization in Moral Theology and Catholic social teaching. My licentiate dissertation was entitled “Perspectivas morais do fenômeno migratório no magistério recente” (Moral perspectives of the migratory phenomenon in the recent Magisterium). I am presently pursuing the PhD in Moral Theology at the University of Notre Dame.

My current research explores the right of migration in Catholic social teaching and Christian tradition. I am especially interested in the theological and moral principles that are at the foundation of such right and its historical roots, especially the 16th century Spanish scholastic.
