More than 100 graduate students are part of the vibrant intellectual community that makes up the Kellogg Institute for International Studies. From October 3 through 7, Kellogg is honoring our doctoral fellows, doctoral affiliates, and Master of Global Affairs fellows – and the important contributions they bring to the Institute – as we join the larger Notre Dame community in celebrating Graduate Student Appreciation Week.
Kellogg graduate students are warmly invited to join us at several regular and special events. 
 
Monday, October 3 - Goodies!
  • Kellogg graduate students and Keough School MGAs are invited to kick off the week by picking up thank-you gifts in the Kellogg Institute main office at Jenkins Hall. We will greet grads and hand out goodies from 10:00 to 11:30 am.
     
  • Show your Kellogg pride and wear your Kellogg T-shirt!

Tuesday, October 4

Wednesday, October 5 - Research Grants Session!
  • Enjoy coffee and doughnuts at Coffee in the Commons from 8:15 to 10:00 am in the Kellogg Commons (130 Hesburgh Center) and later in the afternoon enjoy Cookies in the Commons from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. 
     

  • Graduate Research Grant Information Session
    As a Kellogg Institute Graduate Student Affiliate, you have privileged access to several grants supporting your professional development and research endeavors. Come learn about tips about applying to these grants from previous winners and consultants from the Office of Grants and Fellowships! The tips shared can be applicable to other external grants as well, assisting you in fulfilling your career goals. During this session, Kellogg Doctoral Student Affiliates Kayla Hurd and Debora Rogo, also consultants with the Office of Grants and Fellowships at the Graduate School, will discuss components of a successful grant proposal as well as leave ample time for your questions.
