With Professor Susan Blum, Yuanmeng He is collecting stories of people’s experiences in school at all levels in a variety of international settings, as well as their experience learning outside of school, to understand better the contemporary phenomenology of socialization.

He received an Experiencing the World Fellowship from the Kellogg Institute that funded her research on higher education systems in China during summer vacation. He’s project was also funded by the Flatley Center for Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement (CUSE).
