Francesca Lichtenberger is a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame pursuing a major in Political Science as well as minors in Data Science, European Studies, French, and the Glynn Family Honors Program.
Francesca is passionate in researching immigration, refugee crises, human rights laws, and the international political economy on the continent of Europe as well as within the European Union. Outside of research, Francesca is involved in the Notre Dame Model United Nations Club, Notre Dame Student Government, Walsh Hall Council, and serves in ambassador positions for Beyond the Dome as well as the Glynn Family Honors Program. In her free time, she enjoys taking yoga sculpt classes, baking, painting, and learning languages.
In addition to her involvement in the Kellogg Developing Researchers Program, Francesca holds fellowships with the Nanovic Institute for European Studies, the Notre Dame International Security Center, the Notre Dame Democracy Initiative, and the Notre Dame Stamps Scholars Program.
