Catherine (Reidy) Kress serves as vice president and advisor to the chairman of the BlackRock Investment Institute (BII). In this role, she contributes to the development of BII's views on a range of geopolitical issues and liaises with investors and key stakeholders on matters of geopolitical importance. Prior to joining BlackRock, Kress worked as an analyst on Eurasia Group's Global Strategy and Analytics team, where she oversaw the firm's comparative research and drove strategic initiatives on behalf of the founder and president. She was a student in the Kellogg Institute’s International Scholars Program (ISP) while attending the University of Notre Dame, where she with a BA in psychology and anthropology. She went on to complete an MSc in African studies at Oxford University, where she was a Clarendon Scholar.
