Pedro Henrique da Silva Mota is a junior Economics major at the University of Notre Dame with a minor in Philosophy. His academic pursuits reflect a strong interest in economic policy, global markets, and their impact on development and sustainability. Pedro is particularly fascinated by the role of investment strategies and financial systems in shaping economic outcomes, both locally and globally.
Pedro has participated in Notre Dame’s Berlin Summer Program, where he explored pricing strategies and market dynamics, gaining insights into European economic frameworks. His coursework has included a mix of core economic requirements and electives such as Urban Economics, which have deepened his understanding of market behavior and policy-making.
Outside the classroom, Pedro is actively involved on campus. As a member of the Student International Business Council, he has collaborated on consulting projects, such as presenting data-driven recommendations to EY professionals. He is also part of the Diversity Council’s Outreach Committee, working to foster inclusion and engagement within the Notre Dame community.
