Mitchell Seligson (Fall ’92), the Centennial Professor of Political Science and Professor of Sociology, Vanderbilt University, published “Personality and Civic Engagement: An Integrative Framework for the Study of Trait Effects on Political Behavior” (with Jeffery J. Mondak, Matthew V. Hibbing, Damarys Canache, and Marry R. Anderson) in American Political Science Review 104, 1 (2010).
Seligson continues to direct the Latin American Public Opinion Project (LAPOP), which is focusing its 2010 AmericasBarometer on the economic crisis. The Kellogg Institute contributed to the Uruguay portion of that study, which covers 26 nations in the Americas with 1,500 interviews per country.
