Christina Gutiérrez-Williams, Senior Director of Culinary R&D at Daily Harvest, leads a team of recipe developers, food scientists and nutritionists to create some of the tastiest, most nutrient-dense and fruit and vegetable-forward food out there. Christina previously served as Director of Culinary Development at Thistle, where she built out the culinary innovation department and helped propel the company's growth in the direct-to-consumer fresh food space. She holds a graduate degree from the University of Gastronomic Sciences with concentrations in public health and sustainability, and was a Fulbright Fellow. She has worked at the Yale Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity, and has had stints at food corporations, organic farms, food justice NGOs and restaurants. Her passion lies in developing delicious and nutritious foods that lead to happier and healthier planet, animals, natural resources, and people. She has always been an avid cookbook reader and a voracious eater, and she currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband, where she enjoys spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, and experimenting with her sourdough starter.
