Timothy Power (Fall ’05), director of the Latin American Centre’s Brazilian Studies Programme and university lecturer in Brazilian studies at the University of Oxford, published “Elite Preferences in a Consolidating Democracy: The Brazilian Legislative Surveys, 1990–2009” (with Cesar Zucco Jr.) in Latin American Politics and Society 54, 4 (2012). Power, a 1993 Notre Dame PhD, initiated this survey research as a student in 1990.
