The Kellogg Institute for International Studies, part of the University of Notre Dame’s new Keough School of Global Affairs, is an interdisciplinary community of scholars that promotes research, provides educational opportunities, and builds linkages related to democracy and human development.

Maxwell A. Cameron (Fall ’96), professor of political science at the University of British Columbia, was appointed director of UBC’s Centre for the Study of Democratic Institutions. For academic year 2011–12, he is Distinguished Scholar in Residence at the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies, also at UBC.
