The Kellogg Institute for International Studies, part of the University of Notre Dame’s new Keough School of Global Affairs, is an interdisciplinary community of scholars that promotes research, provides educational opportunities, and builds linkages related to democracy and human development.

Brookelyn Hanley is a sophomore majoring in neuroscience and behavior and minoring in international development studies. Over the winter term, Hanley was able to work on the St. Francis Public Health project in Uganda, which focused specifically on promoting menstrual health. Hanley is interested in public health as well as educational aspects of development.
