Sanya Jain ‘25

Sanya Jain is a junior finance and economics double major, who is originally from Mumbai, India. She enjoys listening to music and making art pieces in her free time. She is motivated to help others, and make the world a better place. Hence, volunteer work is a huge part of her life, both at Notre Dame and back home. 

Her research interests are focused towards economics, especially on economic development. She has conducted research on economic development in her high school and believes it is an important area of research that will help countries develop and grow. She also enjoys reading about labor markets and reforms, which is another area she would like to dive deeper into. Being from India, research conducted on India or neighboring countries is also something she deeply values.
