Rebecca Island is a member of the class of 2028 at the University of Notre Dame majoring in Political Science. She is interested in researching Immigration, International Development, and Democratization. Island has completed several service initiatives in Latin America, which has sparked a desire in her to research with a regional concentration in Latin American countries. She is passionate about using research as a force for good to expand the wealth of knowledge on topics of moral significance to today’s world.
Island is excited to develop her research skills with Kellogg and is certain she will grow intellectually from both her faculty fellows and her peers.
