At the center of the Kellogg Institute’s activities are its faculty fellows, who engage in research on the Institute's core themes of democracy and human development, as well as international topics more broadly.
The Kellogg Institute provides support for an array of faculty initiatives, including research projects, working groups, and academic conferences and workshops. In addition to funding, Kellogg offers fellows the opportunity to engage with our vibrant intellectual community and to disseminate research through the Institute's publications.

Kellogg working groups stimulate intellectual conversations within the Institute community and more broadly throughout the University on emerging research themes and topical, interdisciplinary issues. Led by Institute faculty fellows, the groups draw together an interdisciplinary mix of faculty, visiting fellows, graduate students, and advanced undergraduates.
Work-in-Progress seminars allow members of the Kellogg scholarly community to gather valuable, in-depth input on current research through an interdisciplinary discussion of their projects.
The Institute's longstanding, peer-reviewed Working Paper Series provides a vehicle for Kellogg faculty fellows, visiting fellows, distinguished research affiliates, and guest scholars to rapidly disseminate their research.
