About

Caroline Logan is a sophomore from Grand Rapids, Michigan majoring in Global Affairs and Arabic, with a minor in Peace Studies. She is currently working with Professor Asher Kaufman to conduct research examining certain dimensions of the historical Israeli-Lebanese relationship as documented in French archival materials. Logan has been awarded multiple U.S. government language scholarships for Arabic study including the Critical Language Scholarship and the National Security Language Initiative for Youth Fellowship. Through these programs, she carried out a year-long comparative research project in Morocco exploring the intersection of identity and expressions of love. On campus, Logan is on the Women’s Rowing Team and serves in Student Government.
