Alice Lei is a junior at Notre Dame. She is currently doing research on genocide and decoloniality with Professor Ernesto Verdeja. Her own research interests are centered around decolonial theory and praxis. She has traveled to Palestine, Spain, and China on fellowships provided by the Center for Social Concerns to analyze and better understand various settler colonial societies. Lei hopes to become a professor in the future, and is navigating ways of decolonizing knowledge and power. Her artistic projects and academic pursuits are published on Notre Dame’s The Irish Radical.
